The 6 km long public recreation space along the Cheonggyecheon stream in downtown Seoul involved massive cash flow at $900 million. It is a major beatification effort undertaken by the Korean government since 2003, and was inaugurated in 2005.

consists of 4960 white ceramic tiles stretching nearly
200 m.
