Where Dragons Roam



A boat ride to Komodo National Park from the tiny town of Labuan Bajo channels Kong Island - weaving through hundreds of uninhabited spits of land on a motor boat to approach unspoilt terrain inhabited by venomous dragons.





Komodo National Park is the only place in the world where komodo dragons exist naturally.


The 10 feet 150 pound dragons are perfect predators, unchanged relics from the Pleistocene era, with a toxic saliva rich in anticoagulants, ability to smell blood from 20km away, and an attack speed upto 20km/hr.
